He is a sought after speaker, having presented on over 200 campuses as well is a regular presenter at conferences and conventions, including NACDA, CoSIDA, the NCAA Convention and the Collegiate Athletics Leadership Symposium. He has also been quoted on ESPN.com, The New York Times, USA Today, Forbes, Bleacher Report, Sports Business Journal and a variety of other national and local media outlets. Kevin is also the founder of Culture Wins, helping leaders in the sports industry build a championship culture with their team. Kevin was also honored as an Innovator of the Year for FieldTrack, our web-based platform that monitors social media activity of student-athletes and coaches. Oklahoma City is home for Kevin along with his wife Megan and their three boys, Gabe, Noah and Asher.

Mike heads up the media training services for Fieldhouse Media, in addition to helping us develop effective social media strategies for athletics departments. Mike’s 15-plus years career in journalism saw him build a reputation as a leader in how sports news is delivered in print and online, including being a featured presenter at the 2009 140 Characters Conference in New York City, the first national conference on the impact of Twitter on business. For 8 years, Mike helped lead the sports content team at The Oklahoman. Members of his team have gone on to work at ESPN, USA Today and other national media. Mike is also president of Smirk New Media, a leading social media consulting firm for businesses, serving clients in Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas.
